Electricity Case
Electricity is the movement of charged atomic particles called electrons. Moving electrons create the grammar and power of a lightning strike. A battery is a chemical device designed to create the force needed to move electrons. Conductors usualy metals like copper provide a path for the electrons to flow on. Electons have a negative charge, they travel out of the minus end of a battery and are attracted to the plus end. Flowing electrons are know as current. Current is measured in Amperes. Current tells us the rate electrons are travelling at. The force moving the electrons is known as voltage, hence is measured in volts. It is safe to touch an AA battery because the voltage is extremely low. Pre-cautions: never connect a wire from the minus end to the plus end because such actions will trigger a short circuit. The path that an electric current falls is called and electrical circuit. Electrons are extremely small atomic particles, 1 amp is approximately 64 followed by 16 zeros. 1 ampere is the typical current thats flowing through a flash light.
At the atomic scale we never touch anything. Different matter is made up of different electrons hence when two sub-atomic particles correlate they repel one another. Infact electricity is powered by the negative charge electrons give out, which is created by matter itself. whether the charge may be from a human or an object the eletrons or most of all the same. It is mind boggling to think that we never ever touch anything and that electricity draws a small consumption of power from our bodies.
