I agree with their 9 steps to success as a way to succeed in your academics; Attend Every Class, Be Organized, Manage Your Time Well, Be Successful in the Classroom, Take Good Notes, How to Read a Textbook, Study Smart, Use Text-Taking Strategies, and Reduce Test Anxiety. As they say “practice makes perfect” and I will be using some of their techniques on my path to academic success.
My Definition of Personal Responsibility
Personal Responsibility has many meanings, but below is what I feel Personal Responsibility means to me.
Take Charge with Your Studies
You need to take charge with your studies. If you have a clear organized plan, you should have no problem understanding and executing what you are asked to do.
Self-motivation
If you are not motivated to study and complete assignments on your own, find something that will motivate you. I use my family as my motivation. I need to succeed for my family. I will give them a better life than I had growing up.
Increase Your Self-awareness
You need to realize that negative thoughts, emotions, and studying habits can stand in your way to success. Take the appropriate steps to make positive changes.
Raise Your Self-esteem
You must
