Do you listen to reggae? What about the most famous reggae musician? Yes, I am talking about Bob Marley. He is my choice for the research paper because he is a personal idol. He is also a hero to the people of his home country of Jamaica. He also very meaningful word sin his songs. So I choose Bob Marley for my paper he is my idol, he is a hero to a whole country and a great man to listen too.
First off Bob Marley is my idol. He is because he plays great music. He was an active Rastafarian and has requested to be buried in Africa the homeland of his religion. He was also a human rights activist who spoke all over the world and touched many lives. That is an idol to me.
Second of all he is a hero to so many people all over the world. He has donated millions of dollars of his own money to restore some of Jamaicas worst ghettos. Again he helped so many people overcome drugs (other than “Mary-Jane” because he promoted the use of that) and many other problems like poverty and the “blues”. Do you know and other man in the world that could park a $70,000 Mercedes on the poorest block in Jamaica. He could that is how much people respected him.
Lastly his lyrics, They are the most moving words that I have herd in a song. They are the truth and are heard by people all over this lovely place we call the planet earth. He was a person that truly meant every word he ever said. He believed in himself and in what he taught. He was a good man R.I.P. BOB MARLEY.
Bob Marley my idol, manys hero and a great man in general. He is dead now but his legacy will last for ever.
