Karlton University Description
My college’s name is Karlton University. Karlton’s will be a private college. Karlton will also be a 4-year college. Karlton will be located in Odessa, Texas. Karlton’s main target is to get the best high school athletes in the country. Karlton wants athletes that can step up and be a leader whether it is in class or on the field. The athletes must have a 2.0 all the way through high school. Karlton will only have 10,000 new students every year. Karlton will not have more than 300,000 students. Karlton’s cost of attending will be 33,000 a year. Students may be offered a scholarship based on their grades combined with how athletic they are. All the scholarships for athletes will be paid using the money earned from sporting events. Their will be academic departments. There will be four academic departments math, english, science, and history. We will only have these four departments because they are the four main subjects.
Karlton would be known for their football program and their engineering program. Football will be most known but karlton will have other sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball. There will be one field and two stadiums. One field will be for soccer and track and field meets. the other field will be a practice field for all sports that need to practice on a field . One of the stadiums will be only for football games. The football stadium will be able to hold a capacity of 110,000 people. This stadium will have three levels. The other stadium will be for basketball games and other school events. The second stadium will hold a capacity of 100,000 people. There will only be two levels at this stadium.
Karlton will have dorm rooms on campus. The dorms will be able to accommodate all 300,000 students. The students who go to Karlton will have to live on campus all four years. Every dorm will have wifi so the students can do there work.
The students must follow the school rules. There will be a curfew in place. The students will have to wake up at 7am and be in their dorms by 10pm. Hard drugs are banned from school. The only type of drug that is not banned is medical marijuana and alcohol. Students must also be in class from 7:45 am till school ends. There will be people who are patrolling the hallways. Students who break the rules will be punished. Bullying will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the school. Punishments will depend on which rule is broken.
Students will wake up at 7am get ready for class. The students will then head to class. The classes don’t start till 7:45 am. The students will go through their classes till 11:30 am and go to lunch. Lunch ends at 12:30 pm. The students will then go to their study hall for 2 hours. They will then proceed to go to practice. The practice will last at most 4 hours. The students then will have the rest of the time to themselves to get what they need to do done.
Every new school year there will be a graduation for the students who graduate and there will be a welcoming party for the new students. The party for the new students will give the new students a chance to get suggestions from the students who are graduating. Karlton will have programs for youth to learn football and life skills. The programs would be run by the students. The students who participate in helping the youth will get extra credit or other rewards.
Karlton’s main goal is to help the students graduate and succeed in life. Karlton’s mission statement is “karlton students are encouraged to succeed professionally and in life.” Karlton doesn’t care about how many championships they win all Karlton cares about is how many of their students become successful. Karlton won’t be like the other schools. Karlton will encourage students to follow their dreams whether it is going pro or becoming an engineer. The students will have teachers and coaches who have become a professional. The students will also have tutors to help with work.
The students at Karlton will be supported by the staff and the other students. The staff will be filled with teachers who want the students to succeed in life. The students will also be encouraged to help their peers. The community at Karlton will be super close. The community will be like a big family. On campus there will be three medium sized buildings for dorms and one giant building for classes. There will be a square where the students will eat. The square will have McDonald’s, taco bell, Starbucks, and panda express. The students will get a one free lunch with a drink. After the free lunch that day they will have to pay for any other food the want to eat.
