What is a role model? According to The Pocket Oxford Dictionary, the definition for role model is “a person on whom others model themselves.” A role model is an important person who has an important role in society. He is an example to his people; everyone wishes to follow his example and to be like him in order to possibly have the same fate that he has.
My own idea of a role model is someone we look up to and get inspiration from throughout our lives. I suppose I could say someone famous or someone with more age experience than myself, has had the most influence on my life, but it wouldnt be exactly true.
The person who has had the most profound impact on my life is not older than myself, and in many ways she is not wiser than myself, and she certainly isnt famous, yet. But she is a very special human being. This person has taught me more about life and its meaning than anyone else has ever done. Tears and anger, became minor details, that could only be held onto for a small amount of time.
Through out the 17 years we have spent together, she has taught me courage, trust, kindness, and responsibility. She has taught me tolerance for others who have not found this kind of love, she has taught me to be an adult.
This person is wise for her years, and yet also naДЇve. She makes mistakes, but she tries to correct them as soon as possible. She is not too caught up in herself that she cannot ask questions and explore the answers. She has taught me about life and gave me the nerve to explore the endless possibilities that are available to me. She has convinced me to take risks, and not be frightened of the outcome. She
