Motivation
There are many different reasons why I have chosen Burton as my subject. First of all this brands is an international brand, wich makes it easy to find english information on the internet.
But also becaus I am sportsmanlike, and this brand have an sportsman image.
I am a huge snowboard fan and one of the main products that Burton provides are snowboards.
We prefer Burton above the other providing companies, becaus Burton
was the first official snowboard producer in 1977.
The marketing part of this brand is very extensive:
they sponsor a few of the best riders of the world and 4 snowparks
situated in the USA and Austria.

Riders is term for people who ride a snowboard.
The products of Burton are not only used by riders, for example: a new upcoming trend are the backpacks, wich now are used as a normal school bag.
This will result in alot of competitors for burton.
The main product of Burton are still the snowboards, so competitors that take part in this branch are the most important ones.
