I did my research Music, Instruments, dance and Celebrations. I found these very interesting and I myself can relate to their culture. Colombias Instruments are very natural and old fashion like. Accordion, Guacharaca, Maracas, Piano, Drums, Harp and Guitar. These musical instruments are the main instruments that Colombians use to make their Music.

The music from the Pacific coast, such as the currulao with its strong use of drums, is touched by Spanish influence. The Colombian Andean music has been influenced by Spanish rhythms. Among typical examples are the bambuco, pasillo guabina and torbellino, played with stringed instruments such as the tiple or guitar, as well as piano. The Andean music of Colombia differs noticeably from that of Peru, Ecuador or Bolivia. The music of the Eastern Plains, “Los Llanos – música llanera”, is usually accompanied by a harp, a cuatro (a type of four-stringed guitar) and maracas.

Colombia has multiple celebrations and festivals throughout the year, with a majority stemming from Roman Catholic religious traditions. Prominent examples of festivals include the Ibero-American Theater Festival, Barranquillas Carnival, Carnival of Blacks and Whites, Independence day on, Holy Week and Christmas. Iberoamerican Theater Festival is held in Bogota every two years and it is the biggest theater festival in the world. Shows from the five continents will be in Colombia at
