Thesis: This paper is going to discuss the disasters that occurred on September 11, 2001 and Hurricane Katrina. Also I will talk about some of the psychological symptoms that the victims of these disasters faced. Some of the resources that were available to the victims and how they could have been better and how these resources were helpful in the recovery process. The mental state of children and how traumatic events affected them as children. The pros and cons of having the media involved in psychological symptoms that victims are affected with long term will also be discussed.

This paper will go into detail of each topic above and explain what these symptoms are and how they affected the victims and first responders. The organization that helped and hotlines that were set up to help the victims will also be explained and how successful they were in helping the victims that needed help and what did they do. I am also going to go in details on some of the psychological mishaps that people seem to overlook when dealing with victims of disasters such like the ones I am going to discuss.
Reference/Summary
The website does not have any articles on it but what I did find was organizations that are set up to help the people affected by 9/11. These organization will help me to identify they ones that are most effective in the attempt to get victims back to the right state of mind and how other can be better.
