The importance of E- Leadership is a powerful tool, which can be used for positive or negative means. E- Leadership is a growing trend used to bring organization together and help translate the vision of top leaders to all employees either face to face or via advanced technology methods.
This article purpose serves greatly to member all throughout the hierarchal system. The dissemination of information is critical to leaders and followers alike. This advanced form of communication enables people on opposite sides of the world to literally work together and to accomplish goals. The translation of leadership can be felt through the internet if the leader has adapted to this form of communication fully. What I mean by fully is; if the leader makes his/herself available to those he/she tries to reach. A leader placed in an E-Leadership position must be able to communicate his intent to his team while earning their trust.
I think this article is worth reading because it gives several tips of advice on how to conduct business in a setting of this nature. The article also raises eyebrows in the aspect of giving examples of how things can go array if you’re not careful. One leader accidently sent out an email to the staff after a meeting that contradicted almost everything he said; which made him look untrustworthy.
