Project Time Management
Project is a combination of a series of smaller tasks with specific deadlines, goals must be clear, measurable and with an end point. Project management is the use of diverse resources such as materials, people, budget and time, it will involves planning, monitoring and controlling of resources to achieve completion of a project on time, within budget and with the specifications or quality needed to be considered a successful project. All projects are unique, the duration, the given resources such as money and quality required differs from every project, it is unlikely for any project that the company will give projects the luxury of time, unlimited resources to accomplish the desired quality for the project.
By applying Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the Project Manager’s visioning on the entire project can greatly improve as WBS will help to organize and define work scope and thus delegating tasks to relevant team members. It helps to increase accountability of individual team and personnel when they fall under the particular group of WBS.
