You might not know yet, but “Photo booths”, when they first appeared in Tbilisi were very profitable and at some locations, they still are. People just loved the idea of getting photos with their friends printed right away. After observing this success, we decided to take Photo booths to the next level and design the “LenticBoothes”, which offer lenticular photographs. It means that instead of having four separate photos on a paper, customers will get a picture with a frame and four photos will be visible depending on from which direction they look at it. This is an idea of creating something new from the technology we all know well. This photographs are printed giffs. As this idea offers customers something they do not expect and giffs are extremly popular, we strongly believe that they will love it and further opportunities might arise.
We have gathered some information, made calculations and found out that a single Photo booth equipped with all necessary modifications will cost about USD 5000 and their useful life is 5-7 years. If we book events at a modest price of even $600, that means after variable expenses about $500 left, which then means it would take roughly ten events to pay off our equipment. This is not taking into account any wages or other costs. However, once the booth is paid, it’s quite easy to have an average hourly rate of $100 an hour.We are waiting for your insights about our idea.Yours Sincerely,Lako Grigalashvili,Revaz Adamia,Giorgi Gvazava
