The Birds and the ElectricEssay Preview: The Birds and the ElectricReport this essayThe Birds and The ElectricWe begin our story with a small young bird. This is the story of a bird name Whist and his curiosity, braveness in trying to undo the wicked deed of Arlios, Trickster god of the Birds.
Whist was the fastest flyer in his whole grade. He flew through trees, bushes, and humans without stopping at all. He was in the lead of the race. All of the contestants were nowhere near him. Whist was confident in this years race. He had did nothing but practice, practice, practice. Today was the day he would win the big race. Today was the day he would make his wife proud. Whist looked back and made a face at the bird behind him. Whist turned to check where he was going and saw a tree. He quickly swerved to the side just to see an electric pole. He smacked dead hard into it.
He fell to the ground. He looked up to just to see a giant boot. The boot shadowed over him and was going to step on him, He thought. This boot was going to step on him and squash his feathers and brain. He was going to be covered in blood. Whist tried to chirp to get the human’s attention but it had no effect.
Whist closed his eyes. He started to get ready to die. He opened his eyes and chirped” Bring it on!” Just before he could continue, he felt himself inside the air. He looked around. He was sitting on a giant blue bird.  Whist looked at the ground to see all the humans staring at him and the human with the boots on the ground.
Whist tried to look at the bird’s face. The bird’s eyes were sharp and narrow. Hiis wings were beautiful and glistened in the sunshine. Whist tried to speak but couldn’t. He just had a loss of words. They flew in silence for a while until Whist got the courage to speak. “Umm… Thank you, but, who are you?” The giant bird just ignored him and snorted. He flew down to the crowd of the race. All the contestants were holding a trophy. An old, grey bird walked up to Whist and said “Here. Last place, but you still get a participation trophy.” Whist fell to his knees. Not again, he thought. The old grey bird turned to the giant one. “My name is Streak. I am the coach of all the races. Now, who are you?’ The blue bird began to speak.” My name is Arlios. I have come back to my hometown. I have found great power
A long time ago, I lived in the town of Rhein-Davion, and I have lived in Hoshido Village. I’ve seen what seems to me the people are like. I wonder what I think of this place…” It was when I was five. It was my childhood home, where I watched many people play. This place has great power. All of those who live within the castle made a long journey to reach this place. But they were all too young. My grandfather was a young nobleman, so I didn’t know what he could do for me. I thought back to the years that I felt like I could do it. I have yet to find any good, but it will be quite a story.” As I thought about it, I found myself lost. There was a place where you could live like a king. As for me, I have a lot of power. I won the title of King, and I am the best person. I live like a king, so I am one. There are so many people who don’t belong here, but I come here to become one of them. I have many different types of people. The people of Hoshido Village seem to be one of them. Everyone of the people who live together seems to have different kinds of power. But I think I should just join in. That is why I decided to live here with the people from here. It seems like someone like me would like to join the race here, but this time I won because I feel that I am still different from everyone else.
