Emails can also be expository, especially when the conversation is a two-way conversation. It can be persuasive, or it can be a debate.
Memos usually inform individuals as a sole or mass. This can be done internally to inform, or even self-notification.
Technical
Memos can have company jargon to a targeted group of people within a company. Memos are usually not responded to but instead, informative only.
Letter
Letters can be drafted in response to a complaint or resolution. Letters can be internal or external in purpose. For business, letters are usually professional. Personal letters are less formal.

Technical and Expository
Letters can have a purpose to be specific or they can be broad. Companies can send out mass letters identifying a product and its purpose. A letter can be used as a source of advertisement. Letters can be expository if trying to persuade the audience. Letters can also be addressed to an individual, specifically tending to his or her inquires or complaints. Letters can also warrant a response or rebuttal, depending on the situation.

Manual
Manuals are used to identify and explain products and features. Specs, warranties, and other informative information to advise and educate the consumer would be included.

Technical
Manuals are filled with company jargon and usually address a specific. Manuals are specific in nature to a certain product or item. Manuals do not require a response and informative.

Website
Companies use website to describe history and background of companies. Companies also provide information about products and services tendered. Some websites also extend sales and a way for communication.
