Viewpoint paperAmber Kekauohamgt/521May 16, 2016Ron BakerViewpoint paperThe quality-management view point is a point that stood out. It is the third category in the contemporary concerned with quality. There are three aspects 1. Quality control to minimize error by managing each stage. 2. Quality assurance of works. They want them to go for zero defects. 3. TQM which stands for total quality management comprehensive approach for improvement, training, and customer satisfaction. Qualities definition in this form would be making sure the customers have what they need. (Kinicki & Williams, 2015, Chapter 2).TQM has four sections of it. First, they want to make sure that improvement happens all the time. Secondly, try getting every employee involved. This will help with employees interacting and making sure that people are giving respects. Next, listen to employees and customers. Your employees are going to know what the customers are doing because they are the ones interacting with them. The customers are what makes your business work. (Kinicki & Williams, 2015, Chapter 2). Listening to them are important. Lastly, keep up with competitors and make it better than what they are offering. This is important for when trying to get a bigger customer base and make sure that the customers are getting what they want. (Kinicki & Williams, 2015, Chapter 2). If they do not get listened too they are not going to want to do anything with that company. Same goes with employees if they are not being listened too and taken into consideration they are going to want to go elsewhere as well. (Kinicki & Williams, 2015, Chapter 2). Example of quality-management is when a customer calls and has an idea of how to make the lines faster at the company you take it to the company board and see if that avenue is going to work for the company. If an employee comes to you and sees something on the sales floor that can be fixed then you listen and you get it going for them. Another example would be an employee goes to upper management to give them an idea about having monthly meetings to help make employees with their ethics. They listen and then they try out the idea. The employees are already there for work so having them go to a meeting is important.
