I first heard about Facebook in 2007 when I went to a “College History” class. ________-
Over the next two years, I researched Facebook’s history at several universities and was impressed that people started to notice it. ________-
Within a year, my Facebook account was up 6,400+ daily, and I started to receive inquiries from more than 350 people directly. ________-
The first couple months of 2010 were a good year for me, where I had seen the growth of friends, and I got to see and interact with people around other people. ________-
I got noticed more by the young women in my class than by the older ones. ________-
The number of girls who saw people through my Facebook feed was growing at an amazing rate and were even more so in college. ________-
Today, more students are making a difference in this arena with more access to online resources to share their knowledge about the things they know best with friends like me and kids. ________-
What I think is even more exciting for the next few years is that the Internet will be able to support us, but not be the only online environment where many of us get out of our lives and thrive. ________-
