The “Gathering House” is a three month festival in Turkey dedicated to the “Gathering of Turkey” – an annual gathering of about 80 Turkish beer companies based under the umbrella of the CEP group, all of which were established on May 28, 2008. The event has garnered widespread recognition for being an attempt at the promotion of Turkish coffee. Since most of the companies are based in Istanbul, a small section of the business is mainly based out of Turkey. The food is also served mainly in the summer evenings to cater to the public which comes on the very cold nights of August to start. The festival is a fantastic way to introduce to your friends and business that you were never told are passionate about Turkish coffee or what is the point of your beer. The Gathering House is a three month festival in Turkey dedicated to the “Gathering of Turkey” – an annual gathering of about 80 Turkish beer companies based under the umbrella of the CEP group, all of which were established on May 28, 2008. We wanted to try what we did during our first year of brewing, in 2008 with our first “tortello beer” and then as we opened a beer company at our existing brewery, after we had learned to brew and grow ourselves, we tried to figure out ways to make something more innovative and unique. We started by fermenting 5 – 9 different beer types using a variety of different methods of fermenting. It worked out amazing, starting with the yeast – we had the same idea. We brewed all the beer in our fermentation chamber and kept it very cold. Our next step was to mix the yeast with all the other ingredients to make a special beer. After brewing over 10 beers this year, the brew team managed to achieve our dream of an “original brew beer” with 100 litres (12 gal) of beer a day. The first brew we did with a full barrel fermentation, we tested it at room temperature. The results were surprising. We thought what we wanted to be achieved was something that seemed quite impossible a
