Hepatitis is a disease that means inflammation of liver cells, it damages the liver. Hepatitis has three types. First type is Type A Hepatitis. Type A Hepatitis is caused by eating infected food or drinking infected water. It is infected with a virus called HAV, Hepatitis A Virus. It is a virus that causes liver disease. This type usually has no major complications. The liver usually heals in about two months. But a massive infection could cause death. Type A can be cured through vaccination. Second type is Type B Hepatitis. Type B Hepatitis causes liver damage. It can be spread by contact with infected blood, semen, and other body fluids. Type B is a bit more serious than Type A. People with Type B can recover within six months. But the virus could be a lifelong infection. It could damage the liver intensely. Type B Hepatitis can also be cured by vaccination. The third type is Type C Hepatitis. Type C Hepatitis is one of the most common causes of liver disease in the United States. Liver Transplant is mostly caused by this disease. People develop a chronic liver infection with type c. It can be spread infected blood, and sharing dirty needles. There are no symptoms for type c. Also there is no vaccine yet available to prevent Type C Hepatitis. Hepatitis Type A, Type B, and Type C are all contagious. Hepatitis Type A virus spreads through contaminated food or water, as well as unsanitary conditions like in a child’s school. The Hepatitis Type B virus can be found in all body fluids, though its main routes of infection are through sexual contact, contaminated blood transfusions, and shared needles for drug injections. The hepatitis C virus can spread through shared drug needles, contaminated blood products. When Hepatitis is at its early stage, it can be caused by flu-like symptoms. That could include fever, muscle aches, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and jaundice. But sometimes, people with Hepatitis will have no symptoms and may not know that they are infected. For example, children with Hepatitis Type A, will usually have very mild symptoms or sometimes, none at all. When Hepatitis starts to progress, it will realize and point towards the liver as its area of illness. Chemicals that are secreted by the liver will start to build up in the blood that may cause jaundice, foul breath, a bitter taste, etc. Those are almost many of the symptoms.
