This is a story about three friends who literally get sucked in by their Cinema Studies project. Allie, Ashley, and Katie start out their day boisterously working on their project when their TV suddenly sucks them in. In this new world they find out that they are completely in control of a new television show. And the fun begins.
Until one day a concerned person, from a neighboring show, shows up. Then they realize that unless they keep their ratings up their show will be canceled. Not knowing what would happen to them they try to include as many possible ideas in order to keep their audiences interest. However, their success is short lived.
Their idea worked well until the many genres they have used make their show into a tangled mess. The audience no longer being able to follow along with the hectic drama-comedy-horror-tragedy show, begins to lose interest. Our little directors, upon seeing that their rating has dropped tremendously try to right things. However, it is far too late to fix it and The National Toast gets canceled. The show ends with the fates of our characters unknown. But it should be safe to assume that they never returned to their world, again.
