By collaborating with Central this will give both companies an opportunity to grow through globalization. Some of these opportunities can be found by allowing globalization to manifest itself into more network opportunities, skill gains, synergy, combined different perspectives, as well as deregulations. These opportunities can also include optimizing the system as a result of both firms working together.
By the two companies collaborating they can offer Wegman Food Markets a cost effective alternative in todays market by confronting issues that might hinder their efforts. Some issues that they must consider could be matching customer needs and requirements, along with conflicts in making decisions, and redundant management positions. Working Together to eliminate
hurtles, both firms will be successful in fulfilling Wegman Food Markets needs. This should be a good adventure for not only central transport and SAB, but should also be a very good scenario for Wegman Food Markets.
My recommendations for Susan would be to meet with Jean and put together a plan that will ensure success in the near as well as the long term future. They should also contact Wegman Food Market CEO and inform him of their purposed venture. Together they should make every effort to achieve this collaboration and look forward to a successful future.
