On the negative side, there are numbers of difficulties in the way if someone is going in the small firms such as difference between the environment, structure and the strategies. Moreover, there is difference in the way of making decisions during the export of the products of the firms. On the positive side, the student of the international business can also get jobs in the small or the domestic firms which can also beneficial for the development of the domestic market as well. Therefore this essay will argue that small firms can get the opportunities to enter the international market with the help of specialists in the international business. To some extent, there are some problems which have to students of the international business when they work in the domestic firms. The first problem which has to be that there is huge difference in the structure as well as the strategies of the multinational companies and domestic one (McDougall 1989). So, the students of the international business can face this problem if they work in a small firm because they only studied the structure and the strategies of the international business. Moreover, according to Mittelstaedt et al. (2006), the way of making decisions while exporting are different in both international as well as domestic firms. So the students of international business can face the difficulty when they make decisions to export their things as they studied only about the international business. Thus, international business students can have difficulties when they work in small firms as they are not familiar with structure as well as strategies of the firms and the exporting decisions also not linked to their study.Although, students may face those problems, there are various positive aspects of working small firms after studying the international business. If someone thinks in the depth, it can be find that it can be beneficial to work in a domestic firms for the student of the international business. Firstly, the domestic firms often have lack of skilled employees with higher education (Carson 2007). He also stated that small firms need the experts as well as specialists which can help to explore their business. So, the students of the international business can have the opportunity to enter in the domestic firms which can be helpful for the both employee and the company. Moreover, according to Tharenou (2005), the trend of the international work into the domestic jobs is increasing. For example, according to the survey, there are almost 1,046 domestic employees who are working internationally into the domestic jobs. Hence, the international business students have the opportunities to go in the different domestic firms as the domestic firms need to have the skilled and higher educated persons in the different fields.
