After learning about how structured and planned a presidential debate is, I no longer see the need for one. Why not just have each candidate read what they believe in? A debate is supposed to be thought provoking and illustrate how passionate each candidate is about there political ideologies. If there every word and movement is being planned out what’s the point in having the debate? Many Americans just like me do not know the extent to which these debates are being planned out and restricted. If debates are going to be as orchestrated as they are now then viewers should be read the restrictions being placed at the beginning of each debate. If this does not occur then the American people get a polished and not fair representation of each candidate. If the candidate’s get time to study and do not have to face the hard questions, then how am I supposed to know how rooted they are about there issues.
