Although in this generation, elder people still think in this way. But comics and animations are still influence deep to people whoever kids, teenagers or adults. Therefore, knowing its influence and to prevent quality decrease or copyright issue, Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association founded.  In order to support government’s guild lines, animation and comic industry worked harder to protect legal comic books, establish distribution channel, maintain the image of Taiwans protection of intellectual property right, forbid illegal publication, distribution, rental and other illegal acts. April 9th, 1993, in Taipei Ambassador Hotel set up a Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association preparatory office. Seven bigger distribution companies were the first members. Enable to promote animation and comic, in June 1, 1998, openly invited distributors and animators to become member. Finally, in June 26th, 1998, Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association (CCPA) founded. Enhance the comics image and status: Because of school and parents don’t allow children to read comic books, teenagers force to read them in the bed or book store’s little dark corner. Comic books is not like general people thought that full of violence and pornography. Its wide scope, conception, and the positive effect of education, cannot take a part for the whole. Hold comic exhibitions to provide proper public recreation: August 11, 1995 held “the first comic exhibition”, combined with book exhibitions, readers’ exchanges, famous animators signing and so on. This ten-day activity attract huge people to visit. And for contribute to the community, twenty percent of ticket sales donate to Child Welfare League Foundation.
