According to online dictionary disable means limitation in an individual movement, sensory and activities meanwhile traveller defines people who travel around the world. When these two words combined it defines as people who have limitation in their movement, sensory and activities who travel around the world. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, a person has a disability if he or she has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits at least 1 major life activity. Travel by people with disabilities, also known as “disabled travel” or “accessible travel,” is on the rise. This definition includes of all people that travel with children in prams, people with disabilities and seniors. Accessible tourism industry ongoing aim is to ensure tourist destinations, products and services are accessible to all people, regardless of their physical limitations, disabilities or age. It encompasses publicly and privately owned tourist locations. Accessible tourism enables people with access requirements, including mobility, vision, hearing and cognitive dimensions of access, to function independently and with equity and dignity through the delivery of universally designed tourism products, services and environments. Many people with disabilities would like to visit places or destinations with specific objectives but then they are disappointed by the difficulties encountered while travelling. The problems could be the low accessibility and usability experience, while others, informed and documented, give up and change the destination of their travel to other destinations. Travel by people with disabilities, also known as “disabled travel” or “accessible travel,” is on the rise. The travel industry is waking up to disabled travelers special needs by providing more services and greater accommodation.
