Accounting Software is used to obtain information related to accounting and business financial matters. Their role in the world of business is defined as recording transactions that happen with in a business and summarizing the information. Accounting is a kind of information system within its self-tracking financial information. The double entry method is used by accountants to record transaction using debits and credits. These parts are all part of a general ledger that shows how a businesss money is spent and if all accounts are balanced. Accountants also use software most accounting software has common functions such as basic information needed for accountants like, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Inventory, Banking, Time Billing, Job Costing, General Ledger, Financial Statements, and Graphical Summaries. The information gathered by an accountant for any business is used to know what their financial status is, and this will tell one if he or she is making or losing money.
The role of Management in a business is to lead, guide, and organization now days this is done with Management information software (MIS). The goal of a manager is to maximize productivity and profitability without over usage of supply and manpower. Management software are used to track various sections in a business such as Applicable Market, Project Management Tools, Resource Management, Team Collaboration, Client Collaboration, and some software provides Integration into other technological devices like smart phones, tablets ,and other software.
Human Resources Role in a business is to plan for your workforce , retain employees, track and manage trends, firing employees, developing employee orientation, train staff and evaluate performance, employee compensation, promotions, and making sure all company practices are legal. The most common software attributes used by your Human Resource department Applicant Tracking, Monitoring Payroll, Time Tracking this is the most basic information needed by Human resources. Most HR departments would create software using programs similar to Microsoft Excel which would make a program hand tailored to the needs of the company. In the Army every unit an HR equivalent and they tend to use Excel a lot for tracking soldiers if they have financial problems, is someone is due for a promotion, or even is a person has a doctors appoint times in and out.
