The New Deal reflected the various facets of the projects and programmes which were implemented by the United States Government, from 1933 onwards, for the purpose of solving the problems caused by the Great Depression initiated by the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and worldwide financial recession. The reluctance on part of President Herbert Hoover to consider the repercussions of financial market crash to be a significant peril that deserved calibrated response from the Federal Government was starkly in contrast with the responses generated by the tenure or President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The thesis statement needs to be both strong and developed in a concise manner for the purpose of providing a structured framework which could highlight the argument of the New Deal being a turning point for the history of USA. Reforms: Such had been the actions which consistently emphasised upon providing impetus on the sectors such as banking, agricultural and industrial reforms as well as the welfare management of labour forces.

Recovery: These actions reflected the long-term commitments by the USA Government which concentrated on the industrial as well as the economic processes which could resolve the unemployment issues is a sustainable manner for both the immediate presence and future.
