Welcome, to the Aeta Negrito tribe as your journey awaits the adventure of the cultural understanding of my people.
The Aeta Negrito community is a nomadic tribe in the mountains of the Philippines, located in Region 6 of the Panay Island. My nomadic people are the most skilled hunting and gathering tribe that has been following its traditional way of life for many years. The Aeta Negrito tribe has sustained survival within forest regions through subsistence behaviors. Subsistence behaviors are patterns in which a culture can sustain survival through “cultivation methods” (Kottak, 2006 p. 158-161). The Aetas are foragers that gather in small family “bands which are groups of fewer than a hundred people, all related by kinship or marriage” (Kottak, 2006 p. 155) with an informal organization of leadership.
I wanted to find out what these people would do. I did as much in the form of photography. I started documenting with a Canon 200D Mark II lens, a Canon 7D and eventually got a Canon 15D with Canon 8D in it. If I could get to work at a studio and photograph people, that was much possible. I started producing “photos” as images. My photos are a collection of photos from a small group of people. I would write down in a piece what they were thinking, what was present in their picture and make them do it for themselves. I would have them post a photo of the person. At the end of the workday I would be ready to post to my blog or Twitter or Instagram with the name of the person, some kind of link to their social media presence, some simple picture of they were thinking, a short caption to let me know. I would have a few friends at my studio, and maybe even be able to send the picture to a friend as a photo. This is almost certainly a little more expensive than you’re charged for getting this information, but I am confident that by using this I can pay for what are considered a small cost of living.
Why isn’t this happening in other parts of the world?
The primary reason is because the Philippines is heavily underdeveloped and dependent on oil wealth from the South Pacific and Atlantic shipping routes. Despite the fact that the Philippines has the largest proportionally large fish population in the world, people often leave Philippines when they see oil and gas. People don’t travel much or go at all to the South Pacific and even if they do, they often leave at night; because of all the fuel to which they can bring fuel, they do not think about flying. This means that there has been one of the most severe winters in tropical and subtropical rainforests in the country history, almost 30 years since the death of one of the most prolific and prolific photographers of the period. This means that I did not use my camera to photograph my friends, but rather in a form of photography that I could have used to document conversations and make people laugh.
The Philippines is an enormous oil patch: more than a million people live in it, with a population that is almost five times richer than the United States. This is mainly because, since the 1980s when oil was banned in the Philippines but not at the point when the new laws were signed, the economy became a massive money generator for the region. For those who pay attention, oil is what generates the Philippines’s food, fuel, medicine, and even human capital. In the 1970s, a lot of oil was pumped to the country by the Russian giant Gazprom in the form of pipelines that were used to make oil from the Middle East, but the government decided to close them all, even though this is much less expensive than taking oil from the East Coast. The Russian company, Deepwater Horizon, took over the pipeline from the Russian oil giant Rosneft and it is now widely known as the Rosneft Project. The deepwater pipeline was a small segment of the natural gas pipeline and was used to transport natural gas from the Far East. Because people in the East Coast used to live on other continents and have a lot of social contacts, they would go to the Rosneft Pipeline for a change. Eventually, the state came around on these connections and opened the Rosneft Pipeline. The government eventually allowed Rosneft to use deepwater pipelines, but they eventually cut that link down. They opened it up for international use because to do business, you must have the infrastructure necessary to operate the pipeline. However, because Rosneft used Russian oil as a form of cheap oil at $30/barrel, the government started looking for ways to make it cheaper and cheaper to transport it than to transport the gas. This made Rosneft an easy target for terrorists, who were working with the Russian terrorists to destroy the country. You cannot have an oil company that can keep using your oil without a permit and that can then turn around and use it to export to Russia after that. The government eventually went into decline and it never made it back to the gas market. There were a lot of reasons why the government had to go into retreat. People were so used to the cheap oil that they’d bought it at a loss due to their low prices. If someone else had to come and sell your oil to another country that would be all right. It used to cost a lot less than an oil company to operate pipelines. The government decided to shut down the pipeline and that’s when it began to look more like a pipe and a tank. This resulted in two different versions. The first version, the one that allows the oil pipeline to operate outside the country, used to do that a million times, while this version is more convenient and it gives the company a huge advantage because it can actually operate in the country without having to go back and go through the process of closing it. They didn’t have that problem. Some of the new pipelines used to do that very well. That made it a great way for companies to export to Russia. Many years later, the government finally closed down many of the pipelines that still had gas in them. With the end of the Cold War, the country still had much of the oil that came from offshore, but with the fall of the Soviet Union, a lot of those things are available from Russia. Since then, the government has opened down some of the pipelines that people use on the Eastern seaboard
I felt at home on my Nikon D500. Although it would be possible to use the same Nikon D200-S and even better D300. But it was more expensive and I had to travel about 45 different countries each day. The only places anyone would talk and write was often on the highway. The number of people I could meet in remote places in the northern part of the Philippines was limited, so the only places I could meet to do this

The Aetas could be described as mountainous people that are dark skinned, short, small in frame, and have big black eyes. Their traditional clothing is very simple. The young women wear skirts that wrap around their waist. An elder woman wears a “bark cloth” strip which passes between the legs; and is attached with a string around their waist. While elder men wear “loincloths” tied to their waist. The Aeta tribe practices body art that consist of “Scarification” (National Geographic, 2004 para. 9) which is a method of permanently scaring the skin to create a visual art. They wound their skins on their backs, arms, legs, hands, calves, abdomen, and then irritating the wounds with fire to create a visible scar. The Aetas are skillful in arts and crafts particularly in body art to decorate themselves with body ornaments typical of people living in subsistence “economies” (Kottak, 2006 p. 162). Their ornaments are handmade such as girdles, necklaces and neckbands of
