An Inconvenient TruthEssay Preview: An Inconvenient TruthReport this essayREACTION PAPER (“AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH”)We have experienced a lot of changes lately: huge floods due to stronger typhoons, and noticeable changes in our weather from too much heat during daytime and sudden rain in the afternoon. Based on what I have seen in the movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”, we are already experiencing the effect of global warming and this is very alarming.
I am very sure that we will never forget this particular tragedy happened on 2009. Many properties were damaged and many lives were lost as typhoon “Ondoy” hit the country. We lived in San Mateo, Rizal, one of those towns that were adversely affected by typhoon “Ondoy” and our family was one of the victims. Aside from that “Ondoy” incident, similar ones also happened all over the Philippines, wherein a lot of people were affected because of landslides.
I kept asking myself, “Why is this happening to us?” I have read a lot of criticism articles from newspapers and have heard comments from the radio and television. All of them are condemning the indiscriminate cutting of trees by big as well as small scale illegal loggers and the damages brought about by irresponsible mining companies. Although I understand that there are existing laws concerning these violations, I havent remembered anyone who was punished of such. We have laws but those who are responsible for the implementation of these regulations are not doing their duties to the best of their abilities. Why? Is it because they are afraid to execute the law, for the owners of these companies are influential people or the so-called “untouchables?” Or is it because our law makers are benefitting from them, thats why they are hesitant to do what is right?
I will say that one of the problems for many people is that what they see as ‘fair’ has become a criminal matter. My husband and I are very cautious concerning their investments in the country. We have been warned of similar dangers from others because we have also been threatened by illegal loggers and our friends from neighbouring countries. They seem to have no sympathy for me because we do not want to be exposed to this type of abuse, but the reason I have been threatened (from many sources in this country) is because I try to protect our property, our children, our family “” our work. I have seen some of my friends and business associates who have been burned, hurt ““ attacked, or, they say, murdered over or even against the forest. I was threatened by these persons because I was asking them to protect me from these things.
I’m worried as well, that these people would take my private property and take possession of it. To some extent, I live in a country where people have to live in a society they did not come from. I’m not sure why people here would put so much faith in that place. In a society of so many rules there can be no safe haven without the others having to live through some serious and serious problems. I hope these people will not be left to get involved again.
I’m very happy to assist for their benefit and to maintain trust, “I don’t know a lot about the mining business as far I can tell. However, I would very much like to hear other concerns on their part, as will be listed in future updates.

The bottom line
In the past, for a variety of reasons, most mining companies tried to minimize the costs by using less natural resources, or by selling only small amounts of coal, which also greatly increased the likelihood of catastrophic consequences. We should ask ourselves what we are doing wrong here. It makes more sense for us to follow up and take action to increase the risks and save lives. It seems reasonable to take action in a small number of cases that may seem to be appropriate for small, localized mining companies that are already doing our jobs or on our soil. We should be cautious. And if these companies are not able to protect our soil from bad conditions, then we must take action.
Also, if you consider your actions to be too extreme, take a few minutes to think about your situation, as it impacts the safety of the environment, and the rights of those impacted.

After watching the movie, I have realized that I should not only put the blame on other people but also on myself. Real and genuine change starts with me and with us. Simple things like proper disposal of garbage, buying energy efficient appliances and devices, walking or
The documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” is all about Global warming. Al Gore explained it clearly and very reasonably. As to my reaction, this documentary makes a big disturbance in my mind due to what I have seen and what I have heard. I have realized that Global Warming is to powerful that it can make the giant glaciers melt in just half a week or in just a day but that is not the only consequence of the Global warming. As Al Gore said, it was very astonishingly that neither every living things nor the non-living thing in the Earth experience the enormous changes in our natural world.
Let me explain the Global warming very shortly so that as you read
