Narrative Story
Alyssa loves her life. She has the perfect job as a writer in Boston, and lives with her best friend Stacy in a modern little apartment in the upper valleys. As comfortable as Alyssa is with her life, there’s one thing missing, and that’s romance. Alyssa has always wanted a relationship but has never been able to find a suitable guy for herself. Hoping to start off fresh with a new career in the business world, Alyssa is in search of her “Mr. Right.”
Monday morning has arrived and it is Alyssa’s first day at work. She is working at Ledger’s Insurance Company which is a well known business in the Boston area. She is working as an assistant for Tom, who is the president of the company. Tom is a very handsome man. He is tall, has dark brown hair, and deep blue eyes. He is very sociable and has a cute personality. To start the day off, Tom has given Alyssa a piece of paper with different code signals which she is to use to understand Tom when he is in a meeting and trying to get her attention.
While memorizing all of the codes, Alyssa couldn’t help but notice, how good looking all of the men in the office were. They were all young, handsome in there suits, and last not but least unmarried; not one of them had a wedding ring on their finger. To Alyssa this was heaven! She couldn’t wait to get to know everyone better and hopefully go on some dates too.
After a long day at work, Alyssa and Stacy decided to go out to get some drinks at their local bar. While they were sitting at the bar, drinking there strawberry martinis, Alyssa got so into what she was saying that she banged her arm against the table and her drink fell and landed on the pants of a guy who was walking by. Embarrassed and feeling guilty, Alyssa got up to apologize; when she looked up and saw the man, she was astonished by how beautiful he was. He was tall, built, and had dirty blonde hair, the perfect cheesy smile, and a sexy English accent.
For a second, Alyssa felt as if she was in love. He was everything she ever looked for in a guy and his accent was a bonus. “I’m.. I’m.. I’m so sorry about that. I got carried away, and didn’t mean to spill my drink on you” said Alyssa. “Don’t even worry about it, that’s not the first time it’s happened to me and it was an accident anyways” said this wonderful man. After talking for a few minutes this man introduced himself as Andy, and offered to buy her and Stacy drinks. Andy and Alyssa clicked right away. They had a lot on common, and Andy was really good at keeping the conversation going. They all sat and talked for the next few hours until Alyssa realized how late it was and how she had work the following morning.
Andy and her exchanged numbers and made plans to go out on a date on Friday. Stacy was impressed with how the night went. She couldn’t believe that Alyssa had such great luck, and how good looking Andy
