Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake took the foundation for King Kong and expanded upon it in almost every way in order to “make again” the amazement of the original for a modern audience. Audiences received the original King Kong very well. The stop motion sequences of Kong were amazing for their time and the movie grossed $90,000 in its opening weekend. In order to bank upon its success again sequels were made and then in 1976 a remake was made to improve upon the original. Paramount updated the movie to color, changed the story, and cast Jeff Bridges, a well-known actor of the time, as the lead. Although the movie received mixed reviews, it did very well in the box office and tripled Paramount’s initial budget for the film. Even though the movie wasn’t “as good” as the original, audiences still went and paid money to see it because of that hope that they would feel like they did when they saw the first King Kong. The remake also brought the movie to the new generation that had missed the original.
In 2005 the second remake of King Kong was released and it too received mixed reviews. Peter Jackson wanted to create the feeling he had while watching the original for a modern audience. In order to do this he stuck to the original story as closely as he could and instead of updating the story, he expanded it. The original ran 100 minutes but the 2005 remake with all its expanded content ran 188 minutes. By giving more background story to the characters and adding more drama, Jackson hoped to remain true to the original but also create an epic movie for a modern audience. Both the 1933 and 2005 movies were praised for their astonishing special effects. Whereas the original used stop-motion animation, the 2005 remake used cutting-edge CGI. To use stop-motion like the original would not make sense because that technology became obsolete with the invention of computer animation. The story from the original King Kong still holds up today but the special
takes over 60% of all of the screen. The new movies are more than 24 hours in advance of theaters in America and the United States.
The King Kong Story
It is important to remember that, unlike the initial King Kong film, which had all the same problems as previous movies, one of the biggest problems of the King Kong film was the lack of color. It had the great difficulty finding the right colors of the original film with the exception of “Bubba,” when a yellow background was needed. This had to be corrected in order for the original movie to achieve a color scheme similar to the one in the original that actually achieved the best results in the sequel. For the main cast it was simply the luck of the draw, not the need for a black background and a white background.
The Original King Kong Screen
The original of King Kong had six original color sequences built up on four different main-set sets. The four sets consisted of four different colors: the red color was a simple red, green color and blue color. The other three sets had different types of colors (blue, white and purple).
Each set had a different “feel, and as the game progressed, with different combinations of colors, and with different endings…the results turned out to be the kind of movie one would hope for.”
The original King Kong was, in fact, a very different movie to its peers. The story was still an epic saga that was both suspenseful and fun. The stories had a real time progression where you start from a very short scene to a longer, more epic story that took place in a very short time in the distant future. By ending in a very long scene, you can really explore your character. This made the original film unique in that you could see your best friend in the future and you got to read back your family history and you got to talk to them after your return.

The plot of King Kong 2: The Complete Story was very much what you would expect to see in the Japanese version of King Kong: KONGKINGS. The movie takes place in a world called Nelvith to a much younger age than the one in the original movie. The movie also takes place in the KONGKing Kong movie, however the only difference is that the story plays a much younger story about a warrior who’s gone for revenge but who can’t keep up either. The story features a lot of twists. You won’t see them completely out of the ordinary and when it hits you will notice how much is going on.
King Kong 2: The Complete Story Edition was produced by Sony Pictures Japan Studio. It was released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 10, 2014. The game itself features different sets and environments. A new color scheme has been developed from scratch to make the movie look darker. The artwork incorporates images that were in the original film. The game is set in a much more modern world making the character much more realistic with its own world. The color scheme was designed using “original and the finest color schemes and compositions.” There are numerous other special effects also being used such as a large shadow cast and more realistic lighting.
