The basic idea of the American dream is that any given immigrant can come to America with nothing at all, and through simply working hard, that person or family can obtain wealth and financial stability with a background and past of poverty. This dream can exist in America because many of our immigrants come from emerging nations and third world countries by an economic standpoint. In many of these countries, freedom and economic prosperity is not as attainable or even possible as it is in America. For this reason, the United States sees immigration from almost every country in the world to some extent, whether for freedom such as religious, economic, or freedom from oppression.

The Role of the Working Class and American Communities The recent election of Donald Trump, who is not a Republican and does not fit the mold of a conservative, has created an entirely new reality for our democracy. With millions of immigrants fleeing the many wars and oppression by the old government, the United States is at risk of having a second wave of illegal migrants, many of whom are low pay workers with little to no income support and a low standard of living. The future of the United States is looking bright for many new and returning immigrants in a variety of economic and social directions. As the economy continues to grow, American workers in those fields and with these new skills will create a majority of American jobs. We must do all we can to ensure that foreign-born workers are not only able to find work in the United States but also that we continue to provide them a secure American life in a fair and just manner.
America’s Changing Economy is a Nation of Immigrants A study by the New York Times and other publications shows the growth of new employers nationally, in the United States as well as other regions of the world. This report focuses on four key indicators of the economy: productivity, productivity and profit from manufacturing, as well as the average productivity and profits from American manufacturing each year.
Americans are currently facing unprecedented numbers of young workers who have become employed from foreign shores of the United States. Many of this youth are also employed through American public education, which is an important source of income and job security for American families. Some of these young Americans are young people from non-European backgrounds, who are more likely than older American workers to have family or friends living in the U.S. illegally.
Why we want America to survive It is only now that America has had an election cycle in which voters from all walks of life are calling for an end to the failed policies of the Obama administration. The main goal is a change in policy that will put the country in a healthier place. This shift is the work of the Working Families Party. Our commitment to working for more equitable distribution of economic opportunity and to building a fairer and more equal America means moving forward with the goals and demands of the Working Families Party. We believe that America is at peace with the economic crisis of 2008 thanks to its economic recovery. Despite this, America is at a crossroads in the American economy in a changing sense. We have a large number of low income, middle-class jobs, but these are the most important positions of many families in America — the most important jobs in this country. Today, a growing percentage of our young Americans are not employed. They are living in insecure and often unsafe environments. As a result, we are seeing many of our young people working very hard to survive and gain a foothold in the lower middle income and low-wage sectors of the economy and in other higher paying industries. However, as a society we are entering a period of rapid growth which may take several more years to recover after economic crisis. Many of these young Americans are just starting their own family and working under the direction of an unskilled middle or low paid job if they desire. We want to build a country that is a

The American dream may be considered to be dead to some people, particularly native born Americans who have never felt the need to work hard to pursue their dreams in the manner that many immigrants have. One of the most interesting aspects of immigrants is their attitude towards the workforce and what they want to accomplish. Many modern day immigrants have little no skill in their craft and there for have little to offer most industries. However, the usual immigrants work ethic has far surpassed the attitude and work ethic of other native Americans and there for is a prime example of how to some the American dream really is alive, and they plan to pursue it. Immigrants, emphasizing on illegal immigrants, have an unprecedented work ethic, even with the knowledge they will be compensated with less than Americas minimum wage. This viewpoint alone demonstrates that the American dream is alive in many that have immigrated to the United States and will continue to live on as long as immigrants want to make a name for themselves and make a difference in the world they live in.
