American Red Cross is a non-profit corporation which makes no representation in the financial or other decisions presented by its members or management. Although our organization has a strong tradition of providing more than 400,000 individual Red Cross members the best resources are available to aid their training, medical, mental health and rehabilitation, and many other humanitarian needs.
It is my understanding that this is a 501(c)(4) organization. The public is entitled to receive donations of the very same amount for the same services and benefits that the members of this organization, through their own contributions, receive.
