I once worked at a animal clinic, and randomly through out the day would think, what would I do if one of the dogs got loose? I began to think of strategies I would use, because it was something that worried me. Well one day this happened and thankfully I was prepared because of my critical thinking. I was able to quickly retrieve the dog using wet food and a bell which immediately caught his attention and was able to retain him again.
What made me use these strategies was that I was thinking about what to do everyday when I went in to work at the animal clinic on how to retrieve a dog when they are trying to get away. at this job you deal with every day we are subject to making hard decisions, some can be life threatening and some can be a life time of change for the good. Because when I was working at the animal clinic I see that behavior and the importance of the correct behavior should all be taken into account in using corrections with any dog? Yes, I did enjoy it because it just is what you think about the situation and I like giving my opinion on thing. And there is no wrong answer when you are using critical thinking.
I found it to be satisfactory because the strategies that I used helped to retrieve the dog. It only took me just a few minutes to get my strategies to work because I have been study these strategies for awhile. I would use the same strategies if this were to happen again.
