While the announcement caused Apples share price to fall for a couple of days we don’t believe that Apples growth trend will change in the short term.
Ever since Apple entered the smartphone market in 2007 when it launched it’s the popular iPhone, the companys share price has been growing. The expectation about the new generation of iPhone will maintain the growing expectations in the market. The launch of the iPad tablet computer, which changed and innovated the market trend of personal computers, will contribute with Apple’s growing trend.
We share the opinion of the analysts that believe that the companys business model is robust. The ongoing research and development efforts will ensure the continuity of the company through to the medium term.
According to a recent inform of Business Monitor International that mentions that: Apples greatest challenge is countering the threat of the popular Android OS, which is used in hundreds of millions of smartphones, a growing range of tablet and notebook computers and related connected devices such as TV set-top boxes. We share the remark of this inform, because Android system is growing in the market most of the flexibility and low licensing costs.
Nevertheless, the immediate outlook for Apple is positive new strong competitor as Googles decision to buy Motorola Mobility will have an impact on iPhone market share and the possible launch of a competing product from Amazon will be a threat for iPad.
