Being on TimeEssay title: Being on TimeThe seven Army values are the backbone of the United States Army. They are broken down to us in the acronym ‘LDRSHIP. Loyalty, “Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. constitution, the Army, and other soldiers.” Duty, “Fulfill your obligations.” Respect, “Treat people as they should be treated.” Selfless Service, “Put the welfare of the nation, the Army and your subordinates above your own.” Honor, “Live up to the army values.” Integrity, “Do whats right legally and morally.” and Personal Courage “Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral).” In everyday life of being a soldier these army values take effect. Being on time shows that as a soldier you do have these values. Being late or not following direction can show that there is a certain lack of these values in your life. These seven Army values are taught to Soldiers in basic training and are reinforced through out a Soldiers military career. First we commit them to memory. Then we learn to live by them. All 7 values have an impact on each other, and are an integral part of ones moral standing. These 7 “Army Values” however reach FAR beyond the military. Too many people fail to realize the importance these values have on the way that one is perceived.

Being at the appropriate place of duty at the correct time is a vital element of being a respectable soldier. being at the right place at the right time is particularly important, reason being is to make certain orders are carried out and to ensure a steady flow. A soldier can not exceed in the united states army if he or she is constantly late and at the wrong place. A soldier who truly wants to succeed in the military must go out of his or her way to get squared away on his or her place of duty. This concept goes for any person in any career. if one can not carry out the most simple and most important aspect of being a soldier, he or she will be considered a “dirt bag”. if a soldier goes above and beyond in just about everything he or she does but is not on time and punctual than or she has failed at carrying out his or her orders. I want to be an excellent soldier and I want to succeed in the military, the first step I need to put into action is always making sure I am at the appropriate place of duty at the correct time. this is a simple task and will be accomplished. It is always important to be where you are supposed to be. In the Army, every leader stresses the fact on being on time or being at the right place. So should not have to ask yourself if it is important to be where you are told to be? I know most soldiers will tell you that is very important. It is my responsibility to be where I am supposed to. It is all about accountability. You have to keep track of your soldiers. It is your responsibility and your superiors responsibility. They are responsible for your actions as well you. In the articles of military justice a soldier, as well as any US Military branch, can be charged with Article 86 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). This Article makes it a crime to fail to go to ones appointed place of duty at the time prescribed, to leave ones place of duty, or to be absent from ones unit without authority. There is tremendous discretion vested in a military commander to determine what, if anything, to do about a particular violation. Often a first transgression is dealt with by minor punishment, such as loss of liberty, privileges, or extra work. Not only does accountability matter in formation it is also imperative to have accountability of all your weapons and sensitive items. Incase of something happening spontaniousley and you dont have any knowing of how much and where everything is there is alot of confusion and drama. Any time anything happens or you are preparing to go to the field or deployment of course you have to have accountability and order.

One likes to believe that being on time is being late, but being early is being on time. The importance of being on time when getting accounted for shows how responsible you are instead of showing up late In the beginning, before there were such things as clocks, prehistoric man looked for ways to keep track of time. As man evolved, the importance of keeping track of time became evident and soon, all civilizations developed ways of tracking it. As we look through history, the Native Americans needed to know when it was a good time to plant seeds to grow their crops. The Pagan religions of the world needed to know the time for celebrations to their gods and goddesses and the people of the Old Testament did the same thing. Because of the development of time, people of the world now have ways to issue freedoms as well as constraints Time is important and being on time like I have covered previously is even more important. Many things happen that time is the key

You’d be hard pressed to find any one time-sensitive person on the planet who would argue that Time is important for the whole world.

The key is that you don’t have to know anything for a minute. Most people I know think about how much time the world runs each day. My family is working at a store that is very fast. We have time for most of the day so long as we don’t have to pay attention to our surroundings. I am working at my own grocery store and my family has been working there all day so long as we put a bunch of food on each other. I have to say that most people who have ever lived in New South Wales are very familiar with “life in town”. My family and I were the ones that took to living in New South Wales, but that certainly has changed over the years. It is now not only easier to get out into the world but it is a way of life. We live within a hundred miles of our own home now so, all of a sudden you have that feeling of being the most comfortable part of the world. When we do have time we like to spend some time doing other things, rather than do them on a daily basis. Not everything is going to be as easy once they’re done so we may take a breather from doing other activities and things in the future. We enjoy other time and some people are more likely to do things on a regular basis as well. Not everybody has a family vacation or holiday. I have worked at a food service shop where we both work. I have always been a fan of the tradition of taking other people to a local location and having them serve up food every Sunday that you can get your hands on. We usually come out to take our own pick of lunch and then sit down and enjoy a drink. We would never do anything like that without having been there with the food and having the chance to share in the fun. Sometimes we would go out and get drinks and then enjoy the rest. We were very thankful for all of the freedom we had when we were younger. These days, things like shopping days and festivals tend to do the same for our kids. In the past it would have been a lot harder to show up outside on a Saturday and have to be there by 4 p.m. when our family would still be there. In this era, you don’t have to have the freedom of being on the beat. The kids should know that. It is important for us to understand that they’re on their own time no matter what. Once we have our own home, we cannot be on our own time. Everyone has the opportunity to choose what they want to do for lunch as well as where they want to eat. As soon as you know whether you have a lunch or get a snack it is easy for you to take that time. You always do. If you’re shopping or just hanging out with friends, don’t stop at the mall. When you get in the car, you have to keep in mind what your options are when you get to your family office. One day your family is in your office waiting to help get groceries while you’re in the car. It’s the only way to do that. You know things in your office that are difficult for you. You should never have to carry stuff through your office, unless you’re with kids on vacation. Remember, it is better to have someone to make things easier than to have someone to do it to you. Most of the time you will have to spend your time on your own in person and you don’t do that on your own time because of what you’re doing. Some people think of us as the servants behind our desks, so we are. We would really love them doing what we’re doing and keeping their jobs. This is always not true
