Arranged Marriages Stability
Arranged marriage from parents would not a helpful way to make the arangees family life more stable. No one should be forced to do what they don’t want to do. Not only arrange marriage is a bad idea it goes against the personal feelings of both people getting married. Being married for the first time is a life changing decision, should our parent be in control.
Arranged marriage goes against the person being forced to marry’s freedom of choice. This is a free country and being forced to do something you don’t want to do is wrong, including something as big deal as this. We’ve been brought up to think for ourselves, be independent and make the right choice. Having to be forced to get married to someone you have never met or seen will end badly which might ruin the family’s stability than to make it stronger.
As we grow up we start to take interest in different things, changing from time to time. For example when we were 4 years old we liked to play with dolls but when we turn 13 we like to play computer games. Our interests in the opposite sex changes as well. Some of us might be really shallow and be attracted to looks and some of us might first take into account the persons personality. This attraction might be more specific for some people maybe having a fetish for blonds or might dislike redheads, no matter how enjoyable their personality is. When we get told we are going to get married to some random we immediately tell ourselves that that person might be some moron with no life. Thinking this will change your judgment in a negative way towards the person when you meet them. Personal interests plays a big role in arrange marriages.
