Career Management SkillsAssignment:Referencing the University of Exeter Business School Interactive Career Management skills Module on the Exeter Learning Environment (ELE) you are required to write reflectively about three aspects of Career Management skills most relevant to your personal employability development.
In recent years, the working environment around the world has been changing rapidly as a result of globalization process and technological innovation. In order to succeed in this competitive and challenging world, everyone needs to keep pace with these changes. Due to the fact that there is more competition at every vacancy in every highly-skilled job, students who are studying at universities need to be aware of the importance of career management skills which play a vital role in their personal employability development. As for me, understanding key management skills help me to identify my strengths and weaknesses as well as knowing which kinds of jobs I am interested in and whether they are suitable for me. It also helps me to identify what employers are looking for and which skills I should develop. From my point of view, three most important aspects which I concern and need to improve for my future career are planning skill, time management skill and team working skill.
Sustainable work
The work environment of the new workforce is also full of challenges. According to McKinsey & Company, “The average U.S. worker does not want to be working out every day” more hours per year. In order to achieve the job growth goal for a sustainable workforce, businesses need to develop and adapt ways to attract workers from different backgrounds, backgrounds, etc (such as: a) to find work experience or b) to attract more skilled workers by increasing their skills or by applying for employment (such as, for example, flexible work contract or flexible work agreements which help the candidate with flexibility-level skills, such as high-quality work experience); and c) develop and implement strategies to help a person find work in the workplace safely, efficiently, and more easily. Moreover, a strong team to manage human resources can improve the performance of the workforce and prevent them from becoming bogged down in hiring demands; in addition, in order to find a sustainable workforce, companies need to address the needs of employees in their different skills/employership ranges with the relevant organizations in mind. Thus, new employers have come to accept the fact that they need employees in a range of career and business areas which are suitable for more than one job and in particular require more and more specialized skills than the most available employees in the current job markets.
A team as a way of working
The current working environment of the new workforce is very different – it has changed drastically as a result of globalization in recent years. Despite these changes, there are many reasons for optimism that the economy will continue to grow and is getting better. In addition, there are many reasons for optimism that job creation will come about quickly with the right set of initiatives and skills. One that is encouraging is that global research and other opportunities are increasing exponentially to create new and innovative projects and technologies to build global companies for good. Furthermore, international initiatives are encouraging entrepreneurs to invest in their own businesses and to develop their own businesses at home, in the developing world and in developing countries, since “the country the company was based in and which it worked with in that particular area was also the country directly involved in helping its workers build and grow business.” The government and industry in its efforts are helping to make this a reality through the National Innovation Program and its new initiative, Innovation Hub in China, opening up the opportunity to foreign companies to contribute a small portion of their business revenues to the China Social Competitiveness Initiative to create new jobs globally. As of October 2015, it seems that over 150,000 foreign enterprises are working in India and India-origin manufacturing is expanding rapidly to make it more effective. This expansion is in line with the rapid trend of expanding their supply chains to fill the rising demand for cheap, cheap tools and services. However, the real focus is on expanding businesses because as there are no new and emerging businesses coming over from abroad and as the government has opened jobs to foreign entrepreneurs globally and is helping a number of localities to support the growth of the country, it is imperative to keep pace with new developments and new business opportunities and find their best solution through good innovation.
In addition, innovation can provide a catalyst to make the future of the workforce a much better place for every company on the board. The problem of globalization is an alluring one and as soon as we get out of the economic cycle, there are many good questions for each industry which we should work with to better manage its operations, both locally and commercially based on global and global economic policy. We should work together by fostering good and sustainable work collaboration among our businesses, by making sure that these two worlds are not mutually exclusive, in which industries will thrive, while also helping all sectors to find their business opportunity in Asia via an expanding global

Firstly, Planning is the crucial skill and the inevitable step to orient for my future career. Basically, Planning is a process of setting goals and targets (in short-term and long-term) and implementing activities to achieve them. In my opinion, planning for my employability development is the learning process about my personal abilities so that I can choose which goals I would like to aim at. Thanks to this process, I could realize what I am good at, what I am interested in from what I have done and prepared; thus I could decide to choose the right future options which would suit me. For instance, like many other overseas students, after graduated from university in my country, I decided to study at University of Exeter to pursue higher education as a Master degree, as I know this university has a great reputation of finance, business as well as management studies around the world, therefore it is a good chance for me to develop my orientation to become a future manager or a senior at a managerial work. What is more, through this process I am also able to identify and improve which skills are expected by managers in organizations. For example, after graduating from university, I had two years working at Vietnam Chemical Finance Joint Stock Company as a financial consultant. My tasks included dealing with customer daily, analyzing financial statements and I also involving in decision-making process whether to invest on one company or not. Therefore, I was required by managers to enhance my analytical skill, communication skill, decision making, problem solving and flexibility skill as well. This all are transferable
