Batman Begins is a 2005 film on the Batman series created by Bob Kane. It was directed by Christopher Nolan, and its key actors are Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Katie Holmes, and Gary Oldman. My impression of this film was very good. It had all kinds of scenes in it, mostly action though. It was probably the best Batman movie out of all the movies in the series yet.
The movie starts off with young Bruce Wayne falling into a deep well, then being attacked by bats. This creates a concrete fear of bats which will eventually cause the death of his parents. This happens when Bruces family and him are at a broad way play that has characters depicting the role of bats, which scares him. He has a panic attack and asks his father to leave. Once his parents and him are our of the theatre, they are confronted with a mugger who, even with Bruces fathers calmness, are shot and killed leaving Bruce in a mental state of agony.
The actors in this movie portrayed their roles exquisitely well. Christian Bale had the attitude and the anger to portray the role of Bruce Wayne. He looked as if he really was suffering from the pain that he had to hold in for so long. Katie Holmes also played well as the spunky Rachel Dawes. She was a lawyer and an old friend to Bruce. She shows her feelings to him through helping him with his emotional problems.
Now, since this movie just came out, its camera techniques are very modern. All kinds of camera transitions and focusing effects were used. A big rule I saw that they used was the rule that keeps being in their respective sides of the screen. This works great in action sequences so you know which direction a person is going. The music in this movie consists mostly of orchestra. The music fits well because every type of emotion that youre supposed to feel during the film, the music supports it.
This is a great movie and I recommend it to anyone who likes good not-too-violent
