After looking over the propose plan to hire 35 qualified technicians to work in the new cardiovascular unit in the organization, I feel that the current staffing strategy is not sufficient enough to fulfill the organizational goals at New Health Medical Systems. The current strategic strategy that has been presented to me states that there is a lack of skilled technicians in the local area, which seems to be a problem. These skilled technicians in the local area that could work in the new cardiovascular unit at New Health Medical Systems are already employed at other healthcare organizations in the area and they are currently not seeking a new job position at any other organizations. When it comes to staffing an organization, it is absolutely critical to the success of every company. To be competitive in todays economy, organizations need the best people to create ideas and execute them for the organization to reach goals (Heneman & Judge, 2009).
