During the spring semester of 2011 I was assigned a project in which I got to use as much creativity as I wished. The project was to create a family/friend album. Each student was to include a total of 10 pictures .We were to describe each picture using appropriate adjectives and verbs in Spanish. Each student was encouraged to use colors with a nice album cover. This was completed during my sophomore year in Mrs.Rainherds Spanish class for second period.
During the making of my album I learned how much fun it was to put together an album. This particular best works demonstrates art E.A.L.R 2.2-Applies a performance process in the arts. My project shows mastery of this essential learning by giving me pictures to work with. I learned to interpret art by developing personal interpretation of my work. Also, I used a variation of colors to analyze structure and backgrounds throughout my album. For example I showed a great use of page setup,colors and pictures. Another essential learning that helped me accomplish my project is writing E.A.L.R 1.2-Use style appropriate to the audience and purpose. This E.A.L.R was used to describe each of the photos in my album. I was able to use strong but understandable vocabulary so that my classmates would understand what was being spoken. Also this essential learning helped me improve my choice of verbs,and adjectives in order to best identify each image. For example,I was able to go a step farther when describing the pictures in my album . Finally, reading E.A.L.R 1.3-Read fluently,adjusting reading for purpose and material. For this essential learning I I developed a focus on the photos presented by proving a context in which I was able to maintain the meaning of what was being described. Also I showed mastery of this skill by being able to identify each character in my album with a smooth fluent style. For example,not only did I include good writing,good art work ,but I presented my family/friend album with good voice choice. This is why I choose my family/friend album as my best works.
I selected my family/friend album project as my best works because of the much effort and creativity I got to use and develop throughout the making of it .What I like about this best works is the attempt I gave in while putting together an album with pictures. What I dislike was the amount of time given to complete the assignment. What this best works says about me is even though I didnt receive a sufficient amount of time to complete the project I still was able to create the album with no difficulties. Also this assignment clearly shows that I understood what was expected in order to receive an A.I was able to go beyond of what was being asked to do and included extra pictures to show that I am capable of going beyond standards.
