John Daly has Bipolar Disorder, which is also known as manic-depressive illness, it is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in a persons mood, energy, and ability to function. Much different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through, the symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe. They can result in damaged relationships, poor job or school performance, and even suicide. But there is good news: bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives.
There are lots and lots of symptoms that happen with this disorder such as the following:
>Feeling worthless, helpless or hopeless
>Sleeping more or less than usual
>Eating more or less than usual
>Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
>Loss of interest in taking part in activities
>Decreased sex drive
>Avoiding other people
>Overwhelming feelings of sadness or grief
>Felling unreasonably guilty
>Loss of energy, feeling very tired
>Thoughts of death or suicide
