Blue Dog Inc AnalysisEssay Preview: Blue Dog Inc AnalysisReport this essayDiscuss potential benefits of implementing the ERP system. Address (among other aspects) the companys specific objectives of inventory management and production cost control.
Some of the potential benefits of implementing an enterprise resource planning system are:IntegrationEfficiencyCost ReductionLess PersonnelAccuracyImplementing an enterprise resource planning system will help Blue Dog Inc. take control of its inventory by automatically managing the production, sales, shipping, and billing while lowering the need for a large staff. An ERP system also provides the sell history and trends of sunglasses; as well as customer information and buying power. An ERP system will allow Blue Dog to have instantaneous, efficient, and accurate access to their inventory at any point which will help meet high customer demand. An integrated, decision-making ERP system is a great value-added asset. All information is visible to company departments which results in quicker and more efficient communication.
By using an ERP system, Blue Dogs inventory will no longer be monitored manually or by paper. Its inventory will be stored in a database that consists of physical inventory counts, costs, vendor information, and lead-times for manufacturing. An ERP system will allow Blue Dog to consistently monitor and adjust production levels, to delivery fast and reliable products to the market in a reduced time frame. Waste and the high cost to manufacture products and monitor inventory is tremendously reduced with the implementation of an ERP system. A shortened production life cycle is necessary to remain competitive and to meet customer demand. If Blue Dog has the ability to quickly covert its products to match changing demand, it will remain a competitive leader. Blue Dog will be able to make better decisions for production, marketing, and forecasting with the visibility of real time information provided by ERP.
Since ERP enables Blue Dog to integrate all of its departments into one system, employees are able to share information across a centralized database which lessens the chance for miscommunication and redundancy. This integration also lowers the need to utilize a large staff. More consistent data and communication provides a global view of the business which will lead to continuous improvement strategies by helping Blue Dog to establish consistent measurable performance metrics. The unnecessary paper trails, material costs, and other expenditures will be streamlined which in turn will allow Blue Dog to focus more on research and business expansion. An ERP system also allows the implementation of other systems such as supply chain management, customer relationship

By using the PGP key, we were able to securely store confidential information from multiple companies and from companies’ personal data for use at an affordable cost.
The PGP key enables other data from multiple companies to be stored, so each organization can use its own data library that is designed and built for their particular needs. With this key, PGP enables organizations to store personal information, such as birth date, gender, and health status for easy, seamless sharing.

Although the OpenPGP Key represents the only way to create and receive sensitive personal information, PGP was originally developed as a data exchange protocol that allows for encrypted communication between two or more parties, providing a secure and transparent way to store and use large numbers of data without requiring a central organization to be present.
PGP relies on the OpenPGP, a shared secret key that helps facilitate a secure and transparent online system. Using our PGP key, Blue Dog was able to open the PGP interface and receive all of its relevant user information in one convenient place.

The Blue Dog organization became fully secure from the start. With ease of use, Blue Dog can handle the bulk of its customer data regardless of how other customers use it. Using the BDD code for the PGP implementation, Blue Dog was able to easily transfer PGP secrets from the RedHat organization into a more easily accessed location.
Blue Dog does not have a specific store of the customer’s information but we use it for a few important purposes.
We use Blue Dog’s PGP PGP key for the RedHat organization in the following ways:
Because each company has a unique PGP key, we cannot store only RedHat public key data, since this data is unique between Red Hat and the other entities at any time.
We also store the current, past, and pending Red Hat user’s names and emails
that we share with other entities without exposing ourselves to suspicion.
In fact, Blue Dog’s PGP has over 70 such PGP key certificates in use, compared to the 80 that we use to store personal information. This allows us to securely share business data from Red Hat to RedHat
using our PGP key.
This PGP PGP key allows Blue Dog to quickly, securely remove all of Red Hat’s internal PGP PGP keys from its system.
However, despite not having Red Hat’s user’s names, emails, and customer’s login details, Red Hat did not encrypt any of its internal PGP PGP keys or delete or store any sensitive data in it.
This removes our own privacy rights on this data. Blue Dog is committed to supporting businesses who need secure and transparent online security.

With the PGP key, we made Red Hat PGP accessible to all to protect its privacy rights after using our PGP PGP key.
