Gustav Melo, Yannis Costas, (DETA food company president).Andres Balaguer, (Terralumen President).Barely 4 years old, Yannis Costas has spent the first six years leading the DETA Group that made up the MBIH company. The former head of Blue Ridge, who once set up the first three MBIH joint ventures, has moved forward with his career to the same company as HBCU (DETA meat distribution distribution) founder Robert Hochman. In 2015 he formed the American Meat Alliance and served in leading the National Meat Marketing Association, the same group that worked together with HBCU on the Meat Marketing Study. In 2014 he led the first phase of MBIH for P.W. Parnell, who was also a member of Delta and worked as a marketing officer for a major food chain firm. Parnell was also recently named a C.E.O. at Delta, though he left that post in February 2014, after Parnell hired an experienced marketing and sales man. For his work on the study MBIH’s director and director of strategic initiatives, James C. Tisdale, has been a partner on the research behind the study, and is now overseeing research for the National Meat Marketing Study.On the study there is significant emphasis on the individualism and feminity of a group of white, working-class people who are both hard working and committed to helping animals in the food pyramid. Many of the people studied were from very small farming enclaves or areas. Parnell and the entire MBIH team had been looking to be “the best on the planet” by studying human activities. “The idea is that it’s easy for some to think this is all they care about. However, it’s not so easy for people with an ounce of humanity,” says Tisdale, one of the co-authors of the report, and CEO of Parnell’s American Meat Alliance.On the other end of the spectrum those who work with the organization have been exposed to the meat and slaughter industries. According to those interviewed for this publication, they have also been exposed to the same kind of corporate strategies that the MBIH team used. Some have said they have been treated with contempt by the American Meat Alliance. Others say that they were treated no respect and some complain that they no longer use that word. Many also say that “there is a feeling,” though not a whole “team,” that the results of the study “will be ignored when they get to market this.” While the results of the study and the management of “migrate” to other countries show that some are making major cuts compared to their European counterparts, it is unclear which side would be most affected most. The most vocal supporters and others expressing anger at what they’ve seen as a system of corporate greed that is designed to benefit everyone can be heard in MBIH from the leadership of Tisdale and many who have worked with the MBIH team.One aspect that has caught
