    In addition, CICEWALECO has a strong national and international presence due to its long history, which extends from its founding the CICEWALECO Foundation two million members across the world. In 2011, the CICEWALECO Board of Directors met with its current Executive Committee in its capacity as Executive Committee. In December, 2014, CICEWALECO approved a funding agreement for the California Coastal Commission from CICEWALECO. A third funding offer was sent by CICEWALECO to the COC for future funding, with a portion of the proceeds from this additional funding going toward additional operations on the California shoreline at Pier 30. To date, the CICEWALECO will have over $18.5 million in annual operating expenses.

    CICEWALECO’s primary mission is to provide the world and the world’s oceans with a variety of marine habitat. It maintains and operates a large number of marine wildlife and fishing ports and facilities.
