Opposing claim(so that you can use your opponents position in your favor). Claim evidence(so that your back up/support you primary claim with facts, statistics, etc…). Commentary(it is important to include commentary so that the reader can understand your train of thought/get your opinion of your side). Introduction(it is important to include an introduction because tells the reader what they are about to read and builds there backround knowledge of the topic). Body paragraph(the body paragraph is the heart of the paper, because it goes in depth of your claim and thesis). Transitions(so that they can connect sentences/thoughts so that your essay can easily flow together). Conclusion(the conclusion is important because it is the wrap up of your essay, and it is important to make a bold statement so that your essay is the one that stands out). Purpose(it is important to establish a purpose for writing otherwise you would be writing for no reason). Analyze(it is important to analyze information or what you read so that you better understand it and can explain it better).
