If it happened some companies, such Hyundai, Toyota,BMW wouldn’t sell their products to the whole world.The globality of these brands is very high.Sales percentage could have decreased by some percentage, however I think, the “World Car” hasn’t disappeared. The another point to note these brands have good product features and COO effect is also positive.Demand can change, but the reputation of the “World Car” exists.Question#2There I think COO effect plays negative role to enter the premium watch market.So even India made really good watches,foreign customers probably wouldn’t buy it.Because Indian watches are not famous in a Global watch market. In addition, consumers will compare with Swiss or Japan Brands. After that Indian watches’ Brand Equity goes down.So Indian marketers has to think about changes.There are many ways to be famous and successful in premium watch market.One of the ways is they have to made likeble and unforgettable Brand name. It is important if they want to be famous.As we know some of luxury watches has really good brand name.For ex: Rolex, G-Shock, or Tissot…And also it will be good idea to move manufacture to other country.Probably it is good decision like a “Designed by New Dehli Assambled in Swiss” it will be really interesting. Iphone also manufacturing in China like a “Designed by Apple, Assembled in China”.i have to admit that it could be a high risk but if they’ll be do it accurately Indian Brands have a chance to compete in the premium watch market.
