Kraft became part of Philip Morris Companies Inc. since 1988. On 1 October 2012, Kraft Foods Inc. spun off its snacks and confections business to a new company called Mondelēz International, Inc. The reason for this name change is the division of Kraft Foods in North American supermarket supplier and a global snack brand. The name of Kraft Foods Group is used for the supermarket operations. In short, Kraft Food is made in 1903 and re-made in 2012. Mondelēz International, Inc. is one of the worldā€™s largest snacks companies, with global net revenues of $35 billion in 2012. The name “Milka” is a combination of the words Milch and Kakao (the German terms for milk and cocoa, the main ingredient of milk chocolate). The second most famous mascot “Milka” was Peter Steiner, known as the “Its Cool Man”.
