Brianna Ross, a Baltimore, Maryland native, has been successful in her scholarly career with aspirations of an occupation as a medical examiner. From a young age she has been into her education. Before beginning school she thoroughly enjoyed watching her father help her brothers with their school work and learning while they did. Once in school she was able to maintain high grades in most subjects. In her sophomore year of high school, while attending Western High School, she received a nomination letter for NYLF Medicine (National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine). In this forum she was able to learn basic suture skills, understanding of HIPAA, and tours of medical universities. Brianna also attended the NASA sponsored summer and weekend program called SEMAA (Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Aerospace Academy). This program teaches kids, from kindergarten to twelfth grade, math and physics basic skills that are used by NASA and other aeronautics professions. It also teaches lesson in anatomy, astronomy, and problem solving. Ms. Ross began attending this program when she was in the sixth grade and completed it before graduating from middle school. After completing the program she returned as an assistant instructor until she moved to North Carolina in 2009.

Ms. Ross graduated from Panther Creek High School with the class of 2011. In the fall of 2011 she began her college career as a biology major in the allied health track at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. The two years she was there she spent doing club activities with the campus gospel choir, Instruments of Praise, and with the International Students club where she held the office position as SGA representative. Now Brianna is attending North Carolina Central University as a biology major with a Pre-Medicine concentration. Her future dreams are to be accepted and attend medical school at George Washington University Medical School. With determination and high expectations
