What response would their article receive from your organizations leadership?As General Manager of a corporate retail facility the importance of Business Ethics seem to hit me from multiple fronts. In my world I am continuously being taught the importance of Business Ethics and turning around and teaching the importance of Business Ethics and Ethical behaviors every new employee that I hire. Both sides in my role are vital to the organization. It can be said that my quarterly online ethical development training that I undertake is instilling in me as the facility manager the core concept of doing the right thing in regards to all 13(there are many more in my opinion) key organizational ethical issues that are covered in chapter 3. The understanding and implementation of the best practices in regards these issues that have been grilled into my current position than must be translated and interpreted to every employee I hire. The sheer checks and balances that are in place on all level in regards to business ethics tell the tale on how important business ethics is to my organization.When I talk in regards to Business Ethics I will look at from my eyes on my team. The most concerning ethical issues from chapter 3 in regards to my center are bribery and consumer fraud although I have to keep my eye on many more. The reason for the concern in these to matters it that ultimately they both affect my bottom line.  The bribery comes into play when looking at employee theft issues. The scenario where a friend comes in and gives money on the side to an employee for a goods and services that I provide is real world occurrence. This takes away from my businesses profitability. The other issue is consumer fraud, where one off web sites produce invalid coupons and consumers attempt to utilize them at my facility. This again affects my business profitability through in appropriate discounts that may not be noticed by my general staff.
