Scope:
Business partner and I have started a small, brick & mortar, nostalgic vinyl record store, called “Nostalgic Records, We take you back.” Business partner does not have much experience with information systems or technology and needs a basic understanding of information systems available to businesses. Develop proposal of the types of information systems that would work well for the record store. We are currently independently owned and operated.
Objective:
Nostalgic Records is in need of several types of information technology databases for the business to succeed and grow. The objective is to provide an understanding of five different types of databases; also to understand the pros and cons of each.
Goal:
By providing the necessary objectives on information technology, Nostalgic Records will be able to increase both in-store and online record sales by making the investment needed for the company to succeed.
