This proposal deals with the study of rural youth’s buying behavior regarding Mobile handset and services. This document talks about the process and proposed method of the study.

Purposes:
India is one of the world’s largest consumer markets. The telecom sector has been one of the fastest growing sectors in the Indian economy in the past few years. This has been witnessed due to strong competition that has brought down tariffs as well as simplification of policy environment that has promoted healthy competition among various players. The density of mobile users is very high in urban areas, even more than 100% in some cases. But the users of mobile in the rural sector are still very low. This study is dedicated to reveal the buying behavior pattern of the rural youth regarding mobile handset and connection.
Background:
we will conduct our study in the rural areas near by the Patna city. Youth are generally very much concerned about the handset and telecom services they use. The primary objective of the research is to know about the buying behavior of the rural youth. We will try to elaborate those factors which influence the buying behavior of the rural youth.
Scope:
Our research will be merely based on the responses of the rural youth. So, we will meet the rural youth during the day time, especially in the morning and evening time. We will use the questionnaire to know the buying behavior pattern
